I live and create in Ketchikan, Alaska—rainy, isolated, beautiful, and full of the kind of stories that stick to everything.
I’m Tlingit and Haida, Teiḵwèidi (Brown Bear) of Sàanyàa Ḵwáan. Place, family, Northwest Coast formline, boats, cedar, music, humor, and lived experience all find their way into the work.
Northwest Coast art and contemporary illustration. Books and stories. Songs. Paddles. Upholstery. Furniture. Wallets, shoes, prototypes, websites, and whatever else might become interesting if I keep messing with it.
Some projects are polished. Some are prototypes. Some are held together by epoxy, curiosity, and unreasonable confidence.
This isn’t one clean brand with one tidy category. It’s the roof over the whole pile—a place for art, craftsmanship, stories, recovery, experiments, stupid jokes, and whatever comes next.
I believe broken doesn’t mean finished. A life, an object, or an idea can carry the marks of what happened and still become something worth keeping.
I’m not waiting until I have everything figured out. Apparently, that would take forever.
